Subtasks in Matterlist are actual, real tasks with priorities, due dates, contexts, and notes. They can even have their own subtasks: Matterlist allows unlimited subtask hierarchies.
You can assemble, rearrange and dismantle subtask hierarchies by using drag-and-drop. Simply tap-and-hold on a task, then drag it into its desired place in the existing hierarchy, or hover it over another task to attach it as a subtask.
Subtask hierarchies can be collapsed or expanded whenever you want, so you can quickly hide distracting details and get a bird’s-eye overview of your to-do list.
